More Museum Events

The following are more activities to try at the Florida Museum of Natural History.

October 3rd is the opening of the Amazon Voyage exhibit 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The exhibit has an entrance fee, but there are other crafts and activities available for free that day.

October 24-25, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., is the ButterflyFest. From their web site: ButterflyFest offers something for everyone! Throughout the weekend, all ages can participate in fun and educational activities, including take-away crafts for children, informative workshops, and presentations on conservation and attracting butterflies and other pollinators. Take part in a special field trip or tour and shop for unique butterfly and garden gifts.
